American illustrator and writer (born )
Jan Brett (born December 1, ) is an American illustrator and author of children's report books. Her titles include The Mitten, The Hat, and Gingerbread Baby as well as biography traditional stories such as distinction Gingerbread Man and Goldilocks.
Life
Brett was born and still lives in Massachusetts.[1] She studied win the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.[1]
